HyWire Ltd. Demonstrates New
RLDRAM II Development Board at DesignCon 2004
HyWire Ltd. today announced it will
demonstrate its new HySee RLDRAM(TM) II- based development board at DesignCon 2004,
February 2-5 in the Santa Clara Convention Center at Micron Technology's booth 924. The
HySee board is a complete development environment for designs using high-performance
RLDRAM II devices. It's composed of a Xilinx Virtex-II 8000 and two Virtex-II 2000 FPGAs
to emulate an RLDRAM II-based search engine and its interfaces. This demonstration also
includes HyWire's HyVal tester board that interfaces to the HySee board to allow users to
test and exercise a system design. The combination of the two boards provides users the
ability to design and test RLDRAM II-based systems for an eventual move to ASIC
production.
About HyWire
HyWire provides search engine solutions
for forwarding, classification, billing and security applications. HyWire search solutions
utilize DRAMs to facilitate the implementation of massive-storage at the lowest cost
possible at search rates up to 400 Msps. HyWire products are available in various forms,
such as licensed FPGA-embedded soft cores, embedded arrays and custom-designed silicon
chips. HyWire has headquarters and research and development facilities in Netanya, Israel.
